After surprising the world with his Marvel debut in the end credits scene of Eternals, Harry Styles is back with another beautiful surprise – the launch of Pleasing, his first beauty brand.
The former One Direction member revealed that the unisex line will include nail polish in a variety of colours, nail sticks, eye gel and serum for various skin types.
Birth of Pleasing
Speaking to Dazed about the collection for the first time, Styles shared that the concept of the beauty brand first stemmed from his love for nail polish.
“It’s starting with nail polish, because that was kind of the birth of what it was for,” Styles continues. “Me seeing a colour on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking, ‘Oh, I wanna put that on my nails.’ It was a fun little project, but during the pandemic, and when we eventually named it Pleasing, it felt like it was so much more than nail polish.
“I’ve always found that the moments in my life which have brought me the most joy are the small ones, whether it be, you know, the end of the night under the stars or a bite of food, or sitting with your friends thinking, ‘Oh, I’m never gonna forget this.’ It’s always those moments that I find have the longest-lasting effect on me, in terms of sparking something wonderful in me. I really think that the essence of Pleasing is finding those little moments of joy and showing them to people,” Styles added.
The Collection
The Perfect Nail Polish Set (US$93)
The key products the brand is debuting with, the Perfect Nail Polish set comes in collectible glass bottles that mirror old-school perfume decanters.
Available in the shades Inky Pearl, Perfect Pearl, Granny’s Pink Pearls, and Pearly Tops, these nail polishes also come in a 12-Free formula.
The shades Perfect Pearl and Pearly Tops are also available separately at US$29 each.
According to Pleasing, the nail polishes are formulated to look beautiful and pleasing to the eyes both matte or glossy.

The Pearlescent Illuminating Serum (US$51)
This illuminating serum is infused with vitamin B5, antioxidants and amino acids, and is made to suit all skin types.
The pearls encapsulated in the bottle is the catalyst behind the subtle and smooth luminance in the serum, allowing for that subtle pearlescent glow.
According to Pleasing, this serum is suitable for everyday use and can be worn as a makeup primer.

The Pleasing Pen (US$43)
The last item in the collection is The Pleasing Pen, a duo function pen that comes with steel rollers to refresh the lips and eyes.
For the eyes, Pleasing created a cooling eye gel with natural lingonberry, okra and hyaluronic salt to lift tired undereyes.
For the lips, a demi-matte lip treatment that comes with soothing marshmallow-like scent is used.
