Marvel Eternals End Credit Scene: Harry Styles Joins MCU

Harry Styles joins the Marvel Universe

Marvel Eternals marks the start of a new era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with new characters introduced.

In the end credits scene of the recent world premiere for the movie on Monday (Oct 18), it was revealed that Harry Styles has joined the MCU through the role of Eros (Starfox), aka Thanos’ brother.

In the comics, Eros is a member of the Eternals, the son of Mentor and brother of Thanos. Like all members of the Eternals, he is an immortal and possesses cosmic energy. His special abilities include controlling others’ emotions and pleasure centres in the brains of those who are near him; calming down or persuading them.

While it is unclear whether Harry Styles’ appearance in the end credit scene of Marvel Eternals is a cameo or a permanent role in the MCU, we are definitely looking forward to the movie.

The Eternals cast feature Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden and Kit Harington.

This movie marks the first time Madden and Harington, the two King in the North, are working together after the conclusion of the epic TV show Game of Thrones.

It’s directed by Chloe Zhao, who picked up an Oscar for best director earlier this year for the film, Nomadland.
